Membership is open to individuals and to institutions, at every career stage. It is not restricted by nationality, gender, religion or institutional affiliation, and it does not require you to hold a post or a publication record already.

What membership gives you
A place at the conferences and workshops
You can take part in the FRT International Conference, the poster competition, workshops and expert lectures. All five domains are open to you, including the four that are not yours.
Access to mentorship
You are eligible for the cohort-based Research Mentorship Program as a mentee, and as a mentor once you have published.
Calls and newsletters first
Calls for papers, cohort openings and competition deadlines reach members first, before they are circulated more widely.
Publication support
Peer-review clinics, help choosing a venue, and support in writing a response to reviewers — from people who have been through the process themselves.
A multidisciplinary network
Introductions to members whose work overlaps yours, drawn deliberately from other domains as well as your own.
Eligibility for FRT's awards
Work presented through FRT's programs is considered for the Best Paper, Best Poster, Young Researcher and Innovation awards, judged on the criteria published with each call.
